Southern Light Counseling is seeking a dedicated and passionate Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) to join our team and provide high-quality mental health services across Missouri. Your Path to Licensure:
Direct Supervision with Carlos Garcia, MS, LPC, NCC: As a registered supervisor in Missouri, Carlos Garcia, owner of Southern Light Counseling LLC, will provide expert guidance to help you achieve your required supervision hours within a structured two-year contract.
Pathway to Higher Earning Potential: Upon successful completion of supervision and licensure, you and I'll have the opportunity to transition into a Licensed Professional Counselor role with Southern Light Counseling, unlocking increased earning potential.
Your Responsibilities:
✔ Provide compassionate individual, family, and/or group counseling services to clients with diverse mental health needs.
✔Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
✔Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
✔Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
✔ Actively participate in regular supervision and team meetings.
✔ Deliver services flexibly, including in-home, in-office, and virtual settings.
✔ Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of practice.
What You Bring:
✔ Masters degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited program.
✔ Current Missouri PLPC license in good standing.
✔Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
✔Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
✔Experience working with diverse populations (preferred).
✔Must have liability insurance coverage.
